It’s interesting, people in different areas like using different SNSs, for instance, Hispanic students prefer MySpace to other SNSs, while Asians/Asian Americans are considerably more likely to use Xanga and Friendster. I know over 95% Korean using Cyworld. Technology provides a lot of means to help people communicate with their friends and share their music or feeling. It really makes the world small and convenient.
